Datastick®,
a respected developer of Palm OS® data acquisition software
and hardware, has developed a software interface exclusively
for Oceana Sensor, which will utilize Palm® branded PDAs,
featuring the Tungsten T with built-in Bluetooth® capability
for communication with Oceana Sensor’s Wireless e-Diagnostics®
System Products.
The custom software
interface enables Oceana Sensor’s ICHM®
20/20 to use the Datastick Connection™-suite of software
products to display and store acquired sensor data on wireless
handheld devices running the Palm OS®. The stored data can
then be downloaded using Palm’s HotSync® technology
to desktop personal computers for further analysis and trending.
The custom interface
links to Oceana Sensor’s software in order to wirelessly
communicate with the ICHM® 20/20 smart sensor module via
a Bluetooth Version 1.1-compliant connection, and read data
into one of two licensed Datastick products.
Datastick
Connection Plus can read, display, and store four channels
of static data simultaneously in real time with user programmable
level thresholds and alarms.
Datastick
Connection Wave can read raw or processed dynamic data,
such as vibration, from an ICHM® 20/20 into the Palm™
handheld for display, review, and storage.
