Oceana Sensor Technologies RECEIVES ISO 9001:2000 QUALITY CERTIFICATION

Virginia Beach, VA - Oceana Sensor Technologies, Inc. received their ISO 9001: 2000 certification from Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. on December 8, 2004.  This international quality management standard strives for process consistency, customer focus, and continual improvement of a company's quality management system.  ISO 9001: 2000 covers the entire product cycle and provides customers with evidence from an internationally recognized accreditation body of the company's level of quality commitment.

Oceana's registration covers research, design, development, manufacture and sales of network, data management, wireless and data security sensors for commercial and government products.  The following major accreditation bodies accept Oceana's registration:  Perry Johnson Registrars, UKAS, RvA, JAB, and ANSI-RAB. 

This is the result of a coordinated long-term effort between Oceana Sensor and the Defense Production Act Title III program (http://www.dtic.mil/dpatitle3).  Oceana Sensor is very excited at achieving certification as part of a critical objective under the Title III program.   Louis C. Registration will now provide Oceana with the opportunity to sell to those companies requiring OEMs be ISO 9001: 2000 certified.  Additionally, it provides the rest of their customers with assurance that Oceana delivers quality products and services.
